Mini RCA now opens as a cleaner investigator-facing report on top of Timeline Understanding. The default flow focuses on Executive Summary, Investigation Story, Why DVQR Thinks This, Evidence, and Recommended Next Steps, with Understanding Bundle contributor details retained in the Appendix.
Timeline Reconstruction remains central. It keeps the original Timeline Findings Summary and Timeline Investigation Handoff reports while adding a briefing-first Timeline Understanding Markdown report for narrative synthesis, grouped operational highlights, strongest activity interval guidance, trust posture, and adjacent-interval recommendations.
Understanding Engine v2.2 turns Explain Query into a richer Query Understanding Report with narrative guidance, preserved technical truth, investigation personas, scorecard dimensions, strengths, smells, and recommendation rationale.
Explain Query moved from clause-first syntax documentation into Investigation Intelligence powered by Explain Engine v2.1, structured observations, confidence assessment, pattern teaching, and preview-first Explain reports.
v0.13.x completed Timeline Reconstruction, audit evidence enrichment, and the DVAF/DVIM/DVCE/DVEVM reconstruction handoff quartet while preserving the investigation/reconstruction boundary.

Companion DV ForgeLab utilities may accelerate specialised workflows, but DVQR remains investigation-first and does not become deployment authority, remediation authority, hidden orchestration, or deterministic root-cause authority.
